Begin in Tarangire National Park among ancient baobab trees, acacia woodland and impressive elephant country. Continue towards Serengeti National Park for rewarding game drives across open plains, river valleys, woodland and rocky kopjes.
Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife before travelling towards the volcanic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, where grassland, woodland, wetland and lakeshore habitats support an impressive concentration of wildlife.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning with your private safari guide and travel towards Tarangire National Park. Enter the park and begin your first game drive through ancient baobab trees, acacia woodland, open grassland and the Tarangire River.
Tarangire is particularly known for its elephant population. Depending on wildlife movement, you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs and different predators.
Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and travel to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire or in the Karatu area.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari
After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands towards Serengeti National Park. The scenery changes as cultivated highlands gradually give way to open savannah.
Enter Serengeti and continue with an en-route game drive towards your accommodation. Search for lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest and other plains wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey and continue exploring in the afternoon. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the evening for dinner.

Day 6: Flight to Zanzibar and Beach Transfer
Begin the day with breakfast and a final game drive through Serengeti. This provides another opportunity to search for wildlife before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Travel through changing landscapes as the route rises from the Serengeti plains towards the cooler highlands. Wildlife may still be encountered during the journey.
Depending on timing and conditions, stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner.

Day 7: Zanzibar Beach and Optional Cultural Experience
After an early breakfast, descend onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for your final safari game drive.
Explore grassland, woodland, wetland and lakeshore habitats while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and gazelles. Black rhinoceroses may also be encountered, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending from the crater and travelling to Arusha. Arrive at your hotel for an overnight stay before the following day’s flight to Zanzibar.

Day 8: Zanzibar Beach and Optional Indian Ocean Activities
Spend another day enjoying Zanzibar’s coastline and your hotel facilities. The day can remain completely free or include an optional Indian Ocean activity.
Depending on the selected beach area, weather and sea conditions, optional experiences may include snorkelling, a traditional dhow trip, a sandbank excursion, diving or another marine activity.
Marine activities, equipment, conservation fees and transfers are only included when specifically confirmed in your itinerary and quotation.

Day 9: Zanzibar Departure
Enjoy breakfast and your final moments beside the Indian Ocean. Depending on your flight time, you may have additional time to relax at the hotel before checking out.
At the agreed time, meet your driver for a private transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight.
Late check-out, additional meals and activities on the departure day are subject to hotel availability and can be arranged at an additional cost.
