Tour Overview
Experience four celebrated Northern Tanzania safari destinations before continuing to Zanzibar for culture, beaches and Indian Ocean relaxation.
Begin among Tarangire National Park’s ancient baobab trees and elephant country before exploring the groundwater forest, acacia woodland and lakeshore habitats of Lake Manyara National Park.
Continue through the Ngorongoro Highlands towards Serengeti National Park. Spend two nights exploring open plains, rocky kopjes, woodland and river valleys while searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and grazing herds.
Complete the safari portion with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, where grassland, woodland, wetlands and lakeshore habitats support an impressive variety of wildlife.
After returning to Arusha, fly to Zanzibar for a combination of Stone Town culture, tropical beaches and optional marine activities. The Zanzibar schedule can be adjusted around your preferred hotel location and interests.

Day - by - Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning with your private safari guide and travel towards Tarangire National Park. After completing the park entry formalities, begin exploring landscapes shaped by ancient baobab trees, acacia woodland, open grassland and the Tarangire River.
Tarangire is particularly known for its elephant population. Depending on wildlife movement, you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs and different predators.
Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and travel to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire National Park or in the Karatu area.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a rewarding game drive beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Explore groundwater forest, acacia woodland, open floodplains and lakeshore habitats. Wildlife possibilities include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons, monkeys, hippos and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. Later, return to your lodge or tented camp in the Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti’s open plains, river valleys, woodland and rocky kopjes. Your guide will select the day’s route according to wildlife movement, recent sightings and seasonal conditions.
Search for lions resting near kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, leopards around riverine woodland and large herds of grazing animals.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park or return to your accommodation, depending on the selected route. Continue your afternoon game drive before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Begin the day with breakfast and another game drive through Serengeti. This provides a final opportunity to search for wildlife and enjoy the open plains before continuing towards Ngorongoro.
Travel through changing landscapes as the route rises from the savannah towards the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands.
Depending on timing, road conditions and visibility, stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to your accommodation.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, travel to the crater entrance and descend onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a rewarding game drive.
Explore grassland, woodland, wetlands and lakeshore habitats while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and gazelles. The crater also offers a possibility of seeing black rhinoceroses, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before ascending from the crater and returning to Arusha. Check into your hotel and prepare for the following day’s flight to Zanzibar.

Day 7: Flight to Zanzibar and Stone Town
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
A representative will meet you upon arrival and transfer you privately to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, begin discovering Stone Town’s historic streets, architecture, markets and waterfront.
A guided Stone Town experience can be included in the final itinerary or arranged as an optional activity according to your flight schedule.

Day 9: Zanzibar Beach and Optional Marine Activities

Day 10: Zanzibar Departure
Enjoy your final morning in Zanzibar according to your confirmed flight schedule. After checking out, you will be transferred privately to Zanzibar International Airport.
